This is a natural reflection of the boom in various aspects in the UAE economy, and especially in the service sector. Hence the need for IT professionals who are well educated and supported by professional IT industry certificates will be in increase more than ever.

To support the Government’s initiative and to meet tomorrow’s market demand, Wisdom IT has brought in a well-crafted, career-oriented program known as Professional Career Program (PCP) that is recognized and recommended by the industry experts.

• The program is a right blend of market technology and skill sets with 75% of practical and 25% theory.
• At the end of the program the student is prepared for number of industry standard Professional Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft and Cisco.
• The PCP has been tailored to the career requirements of university graduates.
• It spans over six months, including one month where the students will undergo strengthening in English and basic IT knowledge and one month internship to receive hands-on experience.
• The aim of this program is to graduate students and assist them for placement in IT jobs, as the course is designed in such a manner.

Who is this course for?

The courses are suitable for fresh graduates because we start from beginner in a step by step approach and for those who want to become an IT Professional sooner rather than later and are committed and determined to work hard to achieve their goals.

Eligibility

It’s open for students who have graduated from Universities. However, students will first be appearing for a selection test to qualify for the Professional Career Program. Duration: The Program will be for a period of Six months that includes lab activities, internal exams and one-month of apprenticeship.

Program Details

Our carefully structured job specific blended learning courses that include intensive workshops, interactive learning and home study have been condensed by adding a dynamic support system and target driven study plans with pro-active instructor support.

The courses have carefully been chosen and grouped in three segments – Foundation, Core and Soft Skills. The Foundation will give some basic knowledge of English and the Microsoft Office application that includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 

The Core Program starts from the fundamentals of Operating Systems and Networking and later it briefly covers the Windows 7 configuration and moves to Server Administration 2008. Further under Cisco the students will fully be elaborated on routing and switching technology there by making them a full-fledged Network Engineer.

Soft Skills will complete the requirements for the training by exposing them how to transit from student life to corporate style of working.

Timings

There will be two sessions of four hours each that will be running; Morning & Evening and the timings will be 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM and 4.00 PM to 8.00 PM four days a week (Sun to Wed).

Medium of Instruction

The medium of instruction and examination shall be in English.

Evaluation

A student's performance will be evaluated based on both continuous evaluation and term-end examinations. 

Attendance

A student should have minimum of 90% attendance to sit for the term-end examinations.
